Q: Are all classes online for Term 1, 2022?

A: Yes, all classes will remain online for all of Term 1, 2022 apart from practical classes for Commercial Cookery and work experience placements for Commercial Cookery and Child care courses.  

Q: Will ACP’s campus be open for access to computers and equipment?

A: Yes, our Surry Hills campus will be open Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm unless campus premises closed notice is issued to the students via email. Students are welcome to visit during those times. If you have a particular person you need to speak to it’s best if you make an appointment by contacting us at info@professions.edu.au. While on campus you must follow ACP’s COVID-19 policies and procedures.

  Q: What if I have problems studying at home?

A: We understand that some students may have technical issues at home, others might just live in a busy house! Make sure you speak to your trainer, they will be able to point you in the right direction for any support you might need. We are here to help you, you just need to ask. Our laptop loan scheme is still in operation and small groups of students are able to study on campus if you make a prior arrangement with our staff on site.

Q: When will we be back to normal?

A: Great question! None of us really know at this stage but we are reviewing the situation constantly. We are considering both government and scientific advice and we are also collaborating with several colleges about the best pathways back. As we have said on a number of occasions, the safety of our students and of our staff remains our #1 priority.

Q. Now that we have moved online, does the timetable stay the same?

A: Yes, absolutely. Your classes will run at the same time each week

Q. What if I cannot access WIFI for the class time?

A. Make sure you inform your trainer if you are having any problems accessing your online class.
